CNC Turner
Location: Cupar, Fife
Salary: £13 per hour + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Client:
Our client is a well-established engineering firm, providing a wide range of services to the oil and gas exploration and production sectors.
The Role:
As a CNC Turner
, you will operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines.
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
* Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job.
* Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
* Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
* Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a CNC Turner or in a similar role.
* Basic experience with CNC machines.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* GCSE or equivalent qualification would be preferred.
Shifts:
* Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
* Friday: 8am - 2pm
