International Product Compliance Manager

The Role:
As a key player in our team, you’ll be at the heart of our international operations, ensuring our diverse range of wellness products comply with global trade regulations. Reporting directly to the Head of International Trade, you’ll be our go-to expert on international legislation specifically relating to food product regulations, facilitating smooth and lawful cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Keep abreast of global trade regulations, including animal origin , organic, and high-risk products.
* Understand the EU trade operation agreement, and commodity classification 
* Ensure compliance for exports to key markets including EU, China, Australia, and the USA.
* Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies pertaining to legal compliance for food/vitamins/supplements/seeds  crossing borders and external partners.
* Oversee the creation and maintenance of product documentation and compliance records for international food safety standards for import and export
* Introduce internal audits to maintain and improve compliance standards to adhere to all food/organic/supplement/vitamin/seeds international supply
* Work closely with the Export Data team to manage and integrate compliance data effectively
Location: Based in Nuneaton, this role operates under a hybrid model with 2-3 days a week on-site, supporting flexibility and productivity. There may be occasional/ad hoc travel required to Ireland and the Netherlands.

The Person:
* Proven track record in international product compliance, ideally within the wellness or food industry.
* Comprehensive understanding of global regulatory requirements.
* Experience in a similar industry where you have played an integral role during Brexit would be highly desirable 
* Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs/International Food Law and Policy or a related field or equivalent experience 
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building capabilities.
* Ability to collaborate effectively and foster a cooperative work environment.
