As the International Account Manager, you will oversee their relationships with key European retailers, reporting into their International Director.
Your role with strengthen and develop their existing account base to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be instrumental in expanding their international sales presence and driving their brand’s success across key markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES Relationship Management
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with distributors across Europe, the Middle East, and other key regions.
* Work with distributors to create and implement joint business plans that align with their global brand strategy.
* Ensure effective communication between all internal and external stakeholders to manage accounts comprehensively.
* Serve as the primary point of contact and expert on market trends, retailer landscape, and competitive dynamics for designated regions.
Sales & Financial Management
* Prepare and deliver timely monthly and ad-hoc reports and analyses.
* Lead the annual budgeting process for accounts and manage partner budgets.
* Conduct monthly reviews of profit and loss statements to ensure financial goals are met.
* Identify and seize opportunities for growth within accounts to enhance channel performance.
Business Planning and Operational Support
* Collaborate with distributors and internal demand planning teams to develop accurate sales forecasts.
* Align financial targets with demand planning on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
* Coordinate with the operations team to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
Marketing
* Strategically plan and support distributors in executing brand strategies for each market.
* Ensure marketing strategies are in sync with the overall business roadmap and support cross-channel initiatives.
* Work closely with the US Sales Team to maintain a coherent global approach with key accounts.
* Partner with the creative department at the US head office to address regional creative needs.
* Support event organisation and share best practices with partners.
* Stay informed about trends in the beauty and health sectors to tailor strategies accordingly.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Strong commercial insight and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to balance strategic planning with practical execution.
* Team-oriented with the capability to work independently when necessary.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with the Netsuite ERP system is advantageous.
* Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
* Passion for the beauty industry.
* Proficiency in French is essential; additional languages (German, Spanish, or Italian) are beneficial.
* Prior experience in account management, ideally in an international setting with previous experience managing Sephora as a retail account.
* A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
