Job Description:
Julie Rose Recruitment are looking for a Legal Secretary to join this reputable company based in the heart of Bromley.  The legal work is highly confidential and often, very interesting.

Duties of the Legal Secretary:
* Working as part of a team of legal secretaries, liaising with fee earners within the firm, providing full secretarial support, with a high volume of audio typing
* Liaising with Court staff and Counsel’s clerks
* To ensure that the work on the digital dictation is completed efficiently and to meet deadlines
* To ensure that letters and briefs/notes to Counsel are always completed within specified time
* Answering telephone calls in a polite and courteous manner and ensuring a full note is made and passed on to the relevant fee earner or colleague
* Updating the digital case system – uploading and downloading relevant data to files
* Diary keeping for fee earners
* Ensuring that all legal documents are scanned onto the relevant file and appropriate notification letters sent
* Ensuring the filing system is up to date
Person Specification for the Legal Secretary:
* Minimum 1 year Legal Secretarial experience
* Experience in a role with a high level of audio typing
* Fast accurate audio typing
* Able to work in a confidential environment
* Strong communication skills, ability to liaise at all levels
Working as part of a small team in this well-established firm you will be providing a high level of secretarial support to your clients.
