The Just Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Loader / 7.5T Delivery Driver on behalf of our client based in Chelmsford.

You will be responsible for unloading Goods In vehicles, working in stores, picking and collating pallet loads, loading vehicles for delivery, planning delivery routes.

You will need to be an experienced 7.5 tonne driver and you must have held your licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points for minor offences. You should possess a Tacho card, CPC card and be aware of driver obligations

39 hours per week - 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm Friday. Some overtime available.

Duties:

· Operate forklift to load and unload materials
· Stack and organize products in a safe and efficient manner
· Plan transport routes and co-ordinate deliveries with drivers
· Coordinate with production and sales departments to ensure deliveries meet customer requirements.
· Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
· Record Goods Receipts on computer system
· Create delivery paperwork from computer system
· Assist with inventory control and stock management
· Delivering goods to customers in 7.5t vehicle when the need arises.

Qualifications:

· Valid forklift operator certification
· Must have transport coordination or similar roles preferred.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
