We are looking for an Interim Accounts Receivable Assistant to join on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 9 months.
£26,000 + Hybrid working (3 days a month in the office) + Generous benefits package
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
* Meet cash & debtor day targets
* Proactively chase overdue invoices by email and letter
* Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
* Generate sales invoices and post to ledger
* Post payments to accounts and allocate as required
* Account reconciliations
* Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
* Send out monthly client statements/letters
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
* Process internal corrections and inter-company invoices
* Complete credit check for new clients
Person specification:
* Previous experience in a finance role - Preference
* Team player
* Adaptable & flexible
* High attention to detail
* Quick learner
* Confident communicator
* Willing to learn
* Self-starter and proactive attitude
* Positive character
* Able to start ASAP!
