Registered Manager * Annual Salary: £40k - £45k plus bonus
* Location: Solihull, Birmingham
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager with a passion for residential care for children and young people. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in leadership and management within the sector, looking to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals.
Day-to-day of the role: * Oversee the operational management of the residential facility, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
* Lead and inspire a team to provide outstanding support and care for children and young people.
* Ensure that the home complies with all regulatory requirements and standards.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practice.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the financial viability of the home.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and provide regular supervision and appraisals.
* Drive continuous improvement within the home, promoting a culture of excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Must hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
* Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce (CYPW).
* At least 2 years of experience in a residential setting for children and young people.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Registered Manager post.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent understanding of the regulatory framework governing residential care for children and young people.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
