Job Description:
Job Title: Wire Person
Location:Newhaven
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary £12 -£20ph
Our client are a leading specialist electronic wiring sub-contractor who are currently looking for an experienced wire person. The candidate must be experienced in Cable assemblies, cable looms and panel wiring.
Skills required are:
1) Soldering
2) Crimping - Various different connectors including D-types
3) Lacing
4) IPC 620 Experience/Knowledge would be ideal
5) Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/schematics. Identify any build issues and report these to management.
6) Ability to test and inspect their own work
7) Able to work on their own or within a team
8) Good communication skills
9) Flexibility
Shift Hours
8.30am - 17.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am -16.30pm on Friday, 35 hours a week.
