Job Purpose *Managing a diverse client portfolio of c.200 corporate clients, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
*Preparation and delivery of quality and reliable tax advice
*Overviewing personal tax affairs
*Overseeing compliance function by attending pre year-end/completion meetings
*Supporting business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services
*Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
*Offering cross referral for corporate finance, financial planning and other advice as required
*Overseeing junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training
*Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
*Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team
*Attending courses to further build on own taxation skillset

The Successful Applicant *ACA / CTA qualified, part qualified or studying
*Qualified by experience within UK practice would also be considered
*At least 3 years’ corporate tax experience
*Technically efficient across taxation
*Supervisory experience with good people management skills
*Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
*A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
*Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
*Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
*Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are met
*Good commercial acumen
