NXTGEN have a brilliant position for a Finance Business Partner to join a market leading business but also unique in their field. This is an ideal role for those with an inquisitive mind who enjoy getting out into the business, working closely with operational and senior management teams. As Finance Business Partner, you will take leadership in the review of operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost saving and increased productivity. This will include presenting core financial data and utilising this to influence a range of key business decisions. As Finance Business Partner you can also expect to play an important part in the international operations of the company and will lead from the front in driving change of improvement. This role will play a integral part in building relationships across the business with internal members of staff and the SLT. You will ideally have a manufacturing background as having worked in this area would be advantages.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
* Delivery of month end management reports with detailed variance analysis for group
* Produce and review of groups consolidated management accounts
* Provide cost centers with insight on financial performance vs plan
* Analysing groups performance against budget and other operating plans
* Assisting with the creation of budget for allocated region
* Monthly stock reconciliation
* Influence key financial decisions for the site
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with prior experience gained in a fast paced manufacturing environment (not essential). Experience gained within a commercial finance or operational finance focused role is essential, combined with experience business partnering with senior stakeholders. You will be confident analysing large volumes of data within Excel and will be comfortable using financial models.
