A leading performance marketing agency based in Manchester is hiring an SEO Manager to lead their growing SEO department. This role involves driving strategy, mentoring the team, and delivering outstanding SEO results for clients.
Responsibilities: * Lead the SEO function from client management to strategy development

* Create and implement effective SEO strategies across various clients and industries

* Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify target keywords and search intent

* Analyse website traffic data and pinpoint areas for improvement

* Serve as the main point of contact for clients

* Handle client queries and manage client relationships autonomously

* Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes

* Collaborate with web developers and content creators to ensure SEO-friendly websites

* Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, website traffic, and conversions

* Manage and mentor a team of 2 SEO/Content specialists

* Contribute to SEO proposals through auditing clients’ websites

Required Skills: * 3+ years of SEO experience

* Proven ability to manage and take ownership of client accounts

* Demonstrated success in improving website traffic and organic search rankings

* Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page and technical SEO

* Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret website traffic data

* Proficiency with keyword research tools and SEO software

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Experience in managing and developing a team

* Passion for digital marketing and a deep understanding of the evolving SEO landscape

* Confidence in liaising with clients and auditing new business websites
