Our client is a national body dedicated to careers education in England is looking for a Youth Engagement Officer. It supports schools and colleges in providing contemporary and comprehensive careers education. What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinate and Support the Youth Advisory Group:
* Manage and support the Youth Advisory Group.
* Develop strong relationships with young people and being the main point of contact.
* Plan recruitment, onboarding, and induction for new group members.
* Collect programme data for reporting purposes.
* Handle administrative tasks and collection of data
* Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of young people during activities.
Support Youth Voice Initiatives:
* Work with your Manager and wider teams to enhance youth participation and provide general support.
* Support external opportunities for young people, preparing them for engagements.
Support the Education Development Team:
Assist with project management, event administration and share best practices.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
* Experience in youth engagement coordination and youth-led events.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare practices for young people.
* Experience in managing multiple projects.
* Budget management and progress reporting experience.
* Strong relationship-building skills with young people.
Desirable:
* Safeguarding qualification.
* Understanding of careers education policy.
