Position Expectations
This is an exciting dveelopment opportunity where you will design and implement engineering solutions for Electronic Sub Systems, Cables and Harnesses and support the integration of customer’s products with client’s products and systems.
This includes working with the wider team on the introduction of new products as well as providing support for the manufacture of existing product lines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Support the engineering team in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Manufacture
* Work with the engineering and marketing teams to design, prototype, and document external cable and internal harness solutions.
* Define, document and carry-out or manage verification procedures for new cables and harnesses.
* Participate in the new product introduction process, including peer and stage reviews.
* Write technical documentation including work instructions, notes, reports, specifications and explanations as required.
* Undertake as required, customer and supplier visits by car.
Skills, know-how and experience required:
* A full current driving licence and a valid passport is required.
* Electronic Engineering qualifications desirable (NVQ/HNC/HND or equivalent)
* Soldering experience desirable (IPC training provided)
* Cable and Harness manufacture experience desirable (IPC training provided)
* Effective communicator both written and orally.
* Computer literate (MS Office packages).
* Positive ’can do’ attitude
* Eagerness to learn
