About the Role: Are you passionate about making a difference in a student’s life? We are looking for a dedicated 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Welsh Medium Primary School. This full-time role involves supporting a student who is a wheelchair user, starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
* 1-1 Support: Provide personalized support to a student who is a wheelchair user.
* Assist with Mobility: Help with the student’s mobility needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Educational Support: Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to meet the student’s needs.
* Encouragement and Motivation: Foster a positive learning environment to encourage the student’s academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
* Experience in School Setting: Ideally have experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting.
* SEN Knowledge: Strong understanding of additional needs and experience supporting students with SEN.
* Welsh Language Skills: Proficiency in Welsh is essential.
* Compassionate and Patient: A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
