About The Role
Role overview:
Join our team at the NEC Group Venues and help us provide the safest, most secure, and welcoming environments in the UK. As the Customer Experience Officer, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our visitors and colleagues, ensuring every interaction is memorable and positive.
The Customer Experience officer will be responsible for search and welcome operations across the NEC campus. This role is crucial in shaping the first and last impressions of our guests, combining safety with exceptional customer service.
You will be working Monday to Sunday 07:30 to 18:00, with occasional working until 23:00, 42.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
* Offer a warm welcome to all visitors at The NEC Venue.
* Be the face of The NEC Venue.
* Provide a professional search provision to maintain a safe and secure environment for all visitors.
Requirements
* Proven customer service or front-of-house experience.
* Experience working in events or hospitality.
* SIA Door Supervisor License (or a willingness to obtain one).
* A positive, can-do attitude with strong leadership and customer service skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Flexibility to work various hours based on event schedules.
