Learning and Development Manager

With headquarters in Cardiff and additional offices around the country. This company works with clients both locally and internationally. The Role
The Learning and Development Manager will manage and develop the Learning & Development (L&D) function to ensure it operates at the highest standard. A hands-on approach and attention to detail will support the development and delivery of the L&D plan, fostering a high-performing team.
* Overseeing the L&D team to ensure high performance.
* Developing and maintaining L&D infrastructure, including the Learning Management System.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective training programmes.
* Creating and delivering various training formats: classroom, online, and blended learning.
* Coordinating and updating learning materials and organising training sessions.
* Tracking, recording, and analysing development activities.
* Evaluating training effectiveness and reporting on feedback.
* Managing the L&D budget.
Key Competencies
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a similar role, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent communication, organisational, and training delivery skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
* Successful track record in L&D management.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in developing training materials.
* Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems and MS Office.
