My client requires a pro-active, enthusiastic team player who can bring their hunger and willingness to lean, to enhance the dynamic and growing finance function in this market leading business. The client boasts an impressive customer base of well-known market leading brands within multiple sectors.
As the Graduate Commercial Finance Assistant you will be working closely alongside the Commercial Finance Manager to assist with customer profitability, supporting with analysis and delivering key financial reports. This Graduate Commercial Finance Assistant position would suit an inquisitive individual who is looking for their first role in finance and wants to progress and grow within the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Graduate Commercial Finance Assistant
* Produce consolidated invoices for customers, ensuring they are accurate
* Raise routine invoices for management fees, services and sundry charges
* Investigate customer price lists to ensure they are accurate and match customer contracts
* Analyse price list errors alongside colleagues in sales and procurement
* Identify improvements to processes and controls
* Provide ad-hoc financial support to stakeholders including analysis, reporting and advice.
Required skills and experience of the Graduate Commercial Finance Assistant
* Degree qualified
* A desire to progress and learn within the business
* A good understanding of Excel
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
* Skilled in interpreting financial data and able to analyse data
