As the Assistant Merchandiser:
* Supporting your merchandiser with the day to day of reporting
* Stand in for your merchandiser when they are out of office
* Responsibility to own a category or areas
* Building and managing range plans and other delivery tools
* monitoring and managing stock levels
* Proposing solutions for stock transfers, phasing or cancellations
* Overseeing the critical path and delivery schedule with the wider team
* Understanding store plans and store grading: desired, not essential
* Reviewing seasonal and seasonal buys, including seasonality, stock plans
* Trade your areas efficiently
* forecast and plan new buys or repeats based on historic data, cover and committed stock value
* Review and action promotions and mark downs
* Communicate with internal buying teams, as well as logistics and supply chain
