Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

We are working closely with a continuously expanding and highly successful Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who have a leading presence in the North East region. Due to continued growth and success, they are now seeking to take on a business minded Water Treatment Account Manager to join their long-standing team. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a reputable and professional company with a mixed portfolio of long-standing clients including Blue Chip, Heavy Industry, Manufacturing and Food & Beverage. You will be responsible for managing cooling tower, steam boiler, and closed system accounts for existing clients as well as continuously sourcing new business, you will also attend site meetings and visits to discuss budgets and project finances. Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive experience working in a sales / account management role, ideally within a successful Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
" Will have excellent technical knowledge of water chemistry.
" Well versed in knowledge of steam boiler, cooling tower, and closed systems.
" In-depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to organise workload efficiently in line with company and client needs.
" Excellent communication skills via phone, email, and face to face.
The Role:
" Managing and overseeing cooling tower, steam boiler, and closed system accounts on various sites including blue chip clients.
" Using referrals to secure new business and identifying commercial opportunities in existing contracts by upselling and promoting company services.
" Efficiently organising work schedule, ensuring that existing clients are being fully serviced while sourcing new business.
" Working closely with new and existing employees to provide technical training on water chemistry.
" Attending meetings with clients to discuss progress of work and budgets, ensuring to present the company in a professional manner.
" Providing excellent technical advice to clients, based on system productivity and the most cost-effective solutions.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed targets and budgets.
" Ensuring work on site is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Acting as first point of contact to clients, ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
