We have an opening with a successful heavy manufacturing company who are searching for a highly motivated and passionate instructor to join their team on a full-time basis to deliver training in Turning, Milling CNC, CAD and Hand Fitting techniques.
The role is based at their training centre in Worcester, based within the Engineering department. The purpose of an Engineering Instructor: ·
· Contribute to a well sequenced curriculum plan for the specified apprenticeship programme. ·
· Ensure delivery is appropriate to the learning group and relevant to the qualification.
· Motivate and support learners to optimise their potential.
· Give timely and constructive feedback to learners, both in delivery sessions and through written or verbal means, when work is submitted for tutor review/assessment.
The successful applicant will ideally:
· Experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering workplace.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Confidence when working with people of all ages and abilities.
· Be enthused by passing on their own skills and knowledge to apprentices
· Update their own training delivery skills, through an ongoing CPD programme
Working Monday to Friday on site
