Senior Product Designer

Our client is a well established and innovative organisation supplying Gifts, Homewares and similar products to retailers around the world. Due to significant growth, our client needs to recruit a Senior Product Designer to join its talented team in Leeds to create an impact across some of their key product ranges. Our client designs and develops amazing products, they take risks and can be wild, which is what makes them interesting and stand out from their competitors. As Senior Product Designer, you will have responsibility:
* To design product and product artwork for both key products.
* To design best in class packaging & product labels for our products.
* To work with 3D software for new concepts where required.
* To create vibrant marketing material for printed catalogues and online to maximise sales on new and existing product lines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in product design within the Gift, Home or Toy Industry and understand the consumer, as well as experience of designing gift packaging to best showcase product inside. In addition, you will:
* Be willing to go the extra mile to make great gifts.
* Be innovative and creative but also able to ’crack on’ and get the job done.
* Have a good eye for trends and excellent creative flair.
* Be able to create products with gender target in mind; experience in designing product with a ’male appealing’ style is beneficial but not essential.
* Be proficient in Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator & InDesign.
* Have some working knowledge and experience of 3D modelling software.
* Have experience of designing gift packaging to best showcase product inside.
* Have at least 5 years’ experience in product design in the Gift, Home or Toy industry and understand the consumer
