Container Planner
Container Planner required! My client is a global logistics provider, based in Ipswich, specialising in containers and shipping. Due to company growth, they are looking for a container planner to join their team, playing a crucial role in container control and movement.
Container Planner - Responsibilities
* Routing/controlling day-to-day short sea containers from the Port of Immingham.
* Arranging the release, collection, and delivery of containers (no VBS).
* Ensure all routes are planned correctly and efficiently.
* Liaise with customers and stakeholders, ensuring customer requirements are met.
* Booking/coordinating deliveries of containers within the depot.
* Ensuring all data and information is correctly entered onto the company’s in house softwares.
Container Planner - Requirements
* Previous experience working in the container and transport industry
* Excellent geographical skills
* Strong communication skills
* TOPS knowledge - desirable
Remuneration
* Monday - Friday
* 9-hour shifts, between the hours of 7am - 6pm (including 1 hour for lunch)
* Salary - £25,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
* Pension scheme
* Private Health care after 6 months
