Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a Public Sector Organisation in Kent to recruit a Procurement Officer on a permanent basis.
This role sits within the Commercial and Procurement team. You will be supporting and assisting a Category Manager in completing commercial projects across the function, promoting innovative approaches to procurement and market analysis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is looking to further develop and enhance their skillset within an existing, dynamic and driven team.
The role offers a hybrid working policy;
with the requirement to attend the office 3 days per week, with the other 2 days working from home.

Role:

* Support and assist the Category Manager in developing innovative procurement approaches and market analysis
* Work with customers to develop requirements; putting together tender packs/ evaluating tender processes
* Writing T&C’s for contract awards
* Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes
* Conduct data and spend analysis
* Utilising frameworks
* Liaise with senior stakeholders on a regular basis
Individual:

* Great communication skills, track record of efficient stakeholder management
* Experience within Public Sector Procurement
* Solution focused, a ’can do’ attitude
