A great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established and successful organisation in Knaresborough, who are experiencing continual growth within their niche industry. You’ll be given a full 12 month training programme to ensure that you can perform a full range of logistical tasks in order to maintain the smooth operation of the warehouse.
 
Your duties as Warehouse Operative will be:
* Operate powered industrial pallet trucks to load and unload materials.
* Pick and pack goods daily ready for dispatch, moving items to and from storage areas.
* Specialist handling of delicate objects.
* Perform daily equipment checks and pre-use checks for Health & Safety compliance.
* Complete all procedural requirements and administration.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse at all times.
* Follow all internal practices.
* Work in a safe manner, being Health & Safety conscious.
* Maintain positive working practices with all members of staff.
* Assist in other areas of the business as and when needed.
Skills / qualities required:
* Previous experience working within a warehouse.
* Ability to lift and move crates up to 20kg and carry out physical work for long periods of time.
* High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
* Team player with strong communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* A positive, can-do approach.
