As a key support role within the sales team, you will play a vital part in assisting two National Account Managers with administrative tasks and customer communications, ensuring the smooth operation of account management activities.
Responsibilities in this Sales Support Coordinator role:
* Provide essential administrative support to two National Account Managers, assisting in the efficient management of customer accounts.
* Complete documentation accurately and promptly to support account setup and management.
* Coordinate the dispatch of product samples to retail customers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.
* Update retail customers on order progress and promptly respond to inquiries, maintaining a positive and professional relationship.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date account-specific trackers and reports to support decision-making and communication.
* Assist in the preparation of presentations and sales materials for account meetings, contributing to the team’s success.
* Handle customer inquiries with a friendly and helpful approach, escalating issues to Account Managers when necessary.
* Monitor and track customer orders from placement through to delivery and invoicing, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
* Collaborate closely with Sales Admins to ensure timely completion of customer-specific order processing and documentation.
* Organise daily tasks efficiently to meet customer needs and respond promptly to urgent queries or requests.
* Manage internal and external deadlines effectively, utilising available software tools for task management.
* Align customer strategy by sharing key dates and important information with the Key Account Managers.
* Ensure product samples meet company standards before dispatch to customers, contributing to brand integrity.
* Identify customer requests requiring escalation and assist in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Support Account Managers in achieving sales targets and contribute to account growth initiatives through proactive support.
* Conduct market research under guidance to support account strategy and identify potential opportunities for business development.
Requirements:
* A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow within a high-growth business environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with internal teams and external customers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role would be advantageous but not essential.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail.
