A global service provider is now looking to hire an experienced ESG Manager in London.
The ESG Manager (Environmental, Social, and Governance) is responsible for owning and driving the ESG agenda as prioritised as a key strategic roadmap for the firm.
The ESG manager will report to c-suite leadership, to ensure ESG goals are achieved.
The core responsibility is to take the lead in driving ESG initiatives with a primary focus on the environmental aspect, which include:
* Setting ambitious goals for ESG initiatives, including clear milestones and plans for delivering against those goals
* Driving improvements (reduction of carbon footprint) with operations globally
* Reporting, including the United Nations Global Compact reporting
* Engaging with FIDI as regards their ESG initiative to see how the firm can benefit from or leverage such initiative internally and externally
* Working with each Line of Business to develop "green products and services"
* Working with Procurement to develop ESG requirements and audits with suppliers
* Keep fully up to date with competitors and industry best practice
You will also specifically collaborate with the Commercial organization to:
* Assist in responding to ESG questions in RFPs
* Assist in ESG Audits from/reporting to clients
* Support marketing efforts in profiling our ESG commitments and achievements
Skills and experience required:
* Experience in the Moving, Relocation, HR, Global Mobility or Logistics Sector is preferred (but not essential )
* Extensive experience in leading and driving through the ESG strategy/agenda in comparable organisations (e.g., Relocation and Logistics)
* Proven project and change management experience
* Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills, innovative and creative thinking
* International experience, working with a diverse variety of cultures
