Job Description:
We are on the looking for a Senior Scrub Practitioner to join an incredible Private Hospital based near Bournemouth.
This full-time and permanent role offers a salary of up to £42,500 plus benefits, depending on your experience, training, and qualifications.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase.
* Supporting, coordinating and passionately assisting in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
* Providing quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
* Heading up the delivery of patient care, during a list or specified period of time.
* Ensuring that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with policy.
* Contributing to quality improvement and promoting best evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub role should:
* Be a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
* Have a post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification.
* Have completed an ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
* Have ILS and Orthopaedic skill.
* Have previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
* Have previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
If you’ve previously worked as a Senior Scrub Practitioner, Theatre Nurse, Operating Department Practitioner, Surgical First Assistant, or Advanced Scrub Practitioner, this role could be a perfect fit for you.
