Driver Hire Gatwick is looking for reliable and dedicated Van Drivers to join our team in Crawley for a reputable client. You will be required to do 2 or 3 runs daily of palletised goods in and around the South East and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering a variety of items, using a pump Truck and curtain sider vehicles. This position has the potential for permanent placement and the right candidate need to be able to start ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver the variety of items that our clients are heaving prepared for you to deliver.
* Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clients are satisfied with their deliveries.
* Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of the delivery van to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues promptly.
* Deliveries: Being able to complete between 10-15 drops
Requirements:
* Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid UK driving license.
* MUST LIVE WITHIN 10 MILES OF CRAWLEY
* Experience: Previous experience as a van driver is preferred.
* Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading items.
* Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Grinstead and surrounding areas is an advantage.
