Description
We are working with an Automotive Manufacturer who are looking for a Production Manager to join their site, based in Winsford.
Responsibilities
* Manage a team of Production Supervisors, Team Leaders and Operatives by leading, mentoring and developing the team to achieve production goals.
* Identify and implement most cost-efficient methods of production.
* Adopt Plan, Do, Check, Act approach throughout manufacturing to continually improve KPI’s.
* Improve supply of After Sales parts and service level to Customer
* Provide a high-quality product that meets or exceeds the customers’ expectations.
* To Ensure maintenance on machinery is carried out when needed to
* Using Continuous Improvement techniques to identify and improve production standards and processes.
* Proactively work with and provide support and assistance to other members of the team.
* Working collaboratively across all departments including planning.
* Maintain lead times on all products that is confirmed and agreed with by the customer.
The Candidate
* 5+ Years in a Production Role within Automotive, Aerospace or Injection Moulding Manufacturing.
* Strong experience in managing a team.
* Excellent technical understanding.
* "Can do" and "Hands on" attitude.
Salary
* £50,000 - £55,000
