NEW VACANCY -
I am recruiting for a experienced Road freight operations/ customer service clerk to join their new start up office based in the Birmingham area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing freight company and progress in the freight forwarding industry!
You will be trained in the below:
* Monitoring roadfreight import/ export operations
* Arranging collections with partners and liaising with overseas offices
* Updating customers
* Arranging collections and deliveries
* Booking ferries
* Liaising with the transport department to plan deliveries and collections
* Planning truck runs
* Handling queries
* Processing of customs documentation
* Sending quotes from hauliers to suppliers
Experience needed:
* Previous groupage operations/ pallet network experience
* Irish market experience
* Bright, outgoing and keen to learn
* Excellent communication skills
* IT literate
Working hours:
* Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
