After recent growth within this fast-paced private equity backed business, I am now looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their dynamic team based in Leicester.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal part in the company’s further expansion by looking after several highly profitable entities from a financial perspective while interacting with the Group Financial Controller on a regular basis.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for evolving entities.
* Variance analysis and commentary on performance against budget and forecast.
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, able to put controls in place.
* Support the Senior Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects as required.
* Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies across the finance function.
Key requirements:
* Part-qualified or finalist (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) looking for a progressive career in private equity.
* Experience as Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant in a fast-paced environment.
* Ambitious with strong commercial acumen and potential business partnering skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
