Job Description:
We are looking for a Recovery Worker with knowledge of substance use to join a team based in Trowbridge. You will have a dedicated consultant to complete your onboarding process, manage your shift bookings, process your weekly timesheet and deal with any payroll queries. Block booking opportunities are available and a welcome pack will be attained.
As Recovery Worker your responsibilities will include:
* Effective case management of service users with substance use issues.
* Carrying out comprehensive substance use assessments including assessment of personal strengths and identification of any risk factors.
* Developing person centred recovery plans using a strengths based approach in partnership with service users and others involved in their support network.
* Delivering and supporting harm reduction interventions, including needle exchange and access to physical health care including BBV and health screening.
We are keen to speak to people about this Recovery Worker opportunity who have the following skills and experience:
* Substance use knowledge.
* Experience and knowledge of effective caseload management.
* Demonstrable skills and knowledge in assessing risk presented by clients to themselves and others.
* Knowledge of engagement and intervention strategies.
* Harm reduction, suicide and self-harm aware.
* Organised with excellent IT skills.
In return, you will receive a pay rate of £12.00 - £15.00 per hour PAYE / £13.50 - £17.00 per hour Umbrella. This is a zero hour contract role but currently this role is expected to work 37hours per week.
