They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis to support both the Cashroom Supervisor & Finance Manager. Whilst this organisation is very well-established it still manages to operate a close-knit working environment.

The role of Accounts Assistant has the following responsibilities:
* Producing client fund transactions
* Using online banking systems, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately
* Opening and closing accounts
* Processing interest payments
* Processing inter-client transfer transactions
* Producing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Processing purchase ledger invoices
* Processing expenses
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Responsible for petty cash
* Maintaining nominal ledgers and processing journals
* Other duties as required
You
As Accounts Assistant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
* Previous experience in a legal or professional services firm would be preferred. Alternatively, strong transactional knowledge in both purchase & sales ledger would be happily considered
* Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills, including Excel
* Must be self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
