Schools Engagement Officer to start in August/September 2024
to £28k - flexible working arrangements considered
Permanent Full Time - 28 days holiday pro rata, plus bank holidays, support, CPD, pension, team events
Our clients offices are based in Middleton, with flexibility for remote working, however the nature of your role will require you to work across Greater Manchester. You will also be required to work some evenings dependent upon demand from schools.

We are looking for an individual to support the Project Managers including administration, co-ordination and delivery of - The Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge (ASK) for Schools Programme in Greater Manchester - a national programme funded by the Department for Education. Our role is to promote Apprenticeships to Young People in Schools and colleges, NEET young people across Greater Manchester. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have a full driving licence and the use of their own car, mileage expenses will be paid.
Duties include:
Promoting the ASK programme through Mailchimp and Linkedin
Networking with Schools, Colleges, NEET organisations and careers organisations to engage with the ASK programme
Liaising with schools, colleges, NEET organisations and careers teams to co-ordinate attendance at events to deliver ASK Programme sessions
Preparation and delivery of engaging presentations to young people, parents and teachers to promote apprenticeships
Attendance and hosting of a stand at careers fairs and parents evenings
Collection and submission of evidence documents and maintaining the project data on our clients CRM and Power BI - Support of the delivery of project against agreed timescales and budgets
Updating and reporting to the project managers and attending quarterly network meetings and events to support with tasks on the day
Our client are looking for an ambassador/representative to support their ASK programme and are looking for candidates with an awareness of SEND provision and alternative education programmes.
