Welding Foreman / Woman / Supervisor

Established special purpose machinery engineering company who design and build high-quality critical automatic processing systems, specialising in hygienic and sterile mechanical, welding and process engineering and automation solutions for the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and research sectors is looking to recruit a Workshop Welding Foreman / Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the welding & mechanical assembly. You will supervise and work alongside a team of skilled TIG Orbital Welder Fitters and ensures that all safety procedures are followed.
As the WeldingForeman / Woman / Supervisor your duties will include:
* Management of a team of TIG Orbital Welder fabricators.
* TIG Orbital Welder and Fitting.
* Develop work schedules.
* Assigns tasks to welders.
* Inspect completed work.
* Ensure deadlines are met on-time.
* Attend production meetings with management.
* Ability to resolve technical issues.
* Ensuring consumables are stocked.
Skills/Experience required:
* Supervisory experience within a welding, fabrication environment.
* Knowledge of ASME BPE & PD 5500 Codings.
* Working with stainless steel.
* TIG Orbital welding.
* Must be able to read drawings.
* Able to communicate to others.
* Health and safety awareness.
* Site work experience (not essential).
