Job Description:
Are you an experienced Team leader or warehouse operative looking for a new challenge? 

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Team Leader to join our labelling department. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and leading a productive team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Daily Operations:
* Oversee the creation, implementation, and completion of allocated work daily.
* Monitor staff effectiveness and productivity, ensuring all team members are motivated and achieving realistic targets.
* Assemble all components for orders/stock and distribute them to the department accordingly.

* Planning and Coordination:
* Plan weekly production in accordance with the production schedule and sales orders.
* Liaise with the dispatch supervisor and production supervisor to ensure appropriate staff allocation.

* Inventory and Stock Control:
* Work with procurement to control key areas of the stock system, addressing and resolving discrepancies.
* Ensure accurate inventory records, including correct documentation of stock movements.

* Quality and Safety Management:
* Control waste products and labels produced by the department, addressing spills and damages per company policy.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, free from slips, trips, and falls. Ensure waste is removed daily.
* Monitor and address quality control issues, including errors.

* Team Leadership and Training:
* Provide comprehensive staff training on weighing scale operation, waste handling, chemical handling, correct labelling practices, pump trucks, and sack trucks.
* Lead and promote safe working practices, particularly in a distribution centre environment.
* Ensure suitable coverage in your absence.

* Meetings and Development:
* Attend weekly/monthly meetings and training sessions as required.
* Contribute to future company development as part of the implementation team.

* Other Duties:
* Oversee the label room and its contents, ensuring all labels are responsibly used and maintained.
* Perform daily tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:
* Counterbalance and reach certification.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a production or labelling environment.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve targets.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Working 35 hours a week, Monday- Friday 08:00-16:00.
