Two opportunities are currently available to join the Corporate team in Scotland within an international law firm. The roles could be based in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen and are suitable for a Solicitor with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
The firm’s international focus means that you will have the opportunity for cross border work and international transactions across key industry sectors whilst primarily getting the opportunity to work for excellent clients across the Scotland and UK market.
You will be responsible for a variety of work in a broad based role including:
* Drafting principal documents for Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital investments and Equity Capital Markets transactions
* Providing efficient professional support to partners
* Developing professional client relationships
* Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising the profile of the firm
* Involvement in marketing events
* Managing and supervising the work of others including junior associates and trainees
About You
You will have excellent drafting skills, be able to lead and project manage transactional work and have the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice. Due to the role being client facing you will need to have sound judgement and good interpersonal and consultancy skills. The ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with clients is essential.
