Financial Analyst, Global Media & Marcomms Agency, Central London, Paying £25,000 + Study Support
 
An exciting role for a fantastic Global Media & Marcomms agency based in Central London.

We are looking for an entry level candidate who is keen to kick start their career in Finance.

You will form part of the Financial Reporting team, working with the Finance Manager on month end reporting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities: 
* Work with the Financial Reporting team to meet companies reporting deadlines timely and accurately
* Prepare and update the monthly P&L template including detailed variance analysis to forecast
* Maintain the month end cost accruals & prepayments schedule
* Maintain the month end intercompany schedule, provide mismatch reports to the intercompany team
* Prepare and update the monthly reforecast template including variance analysis to prior periods
* Upload monthly P&L, Balance Sheet & Reforecast into HFM (Oracle reporting platform)
* Submit monthly (weekly in the last month of each quarter) Cash Forecasts in HFM
* Update the monthly Fixed Assets reconciliation and prepare the Depreciation journal
* Prepare journals to post unposted cash items ahead of month end close
* Prepare monthly and bi-monthly timesheet reports for HR & the Finance Director
* Update monthly cost trackers and share details with budget holders
* Prepare quarterly Sale & Leaseback submission
* Manage the job list, work with the wider finance team to understand the purpose and expected close date for each job
* Raise cost Purchase Orders for intercompany and external suppliers
* Submit monthly and quarterly Office for National Statistics surveys
* Assist Finance Manager & Financial Controller with any ad-hoc tasks
Requirements:
* Must be a recent graduate with a Finance/Mathematics/Economics Degree
* You must be a confident communicator, sociable and have a genuine interest in the work of the company, as this role requires a lot of interaction with the business.
* No previous accounting experience is necessary, but you must be proactive and be able to demonstrate strong time management skills.
