Job Description:
A growing warehouse and supply chain facility is looking to develop a motivated and detail-oriented individual to become a software specialist and company-wide superuser.
This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the tech industry. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) software by creating documentation, monitoring system health, training users, and providing basic support.

Key Areas of responsibility
* Create and update detailed documentation for WMS software.
* Monitor key system statistics to ensure software health and data accuracy.
* Assist in training users on the effective use of the WMS software.
* Provide low-level technical support to resolve user issues.
* Work with the development team to keep documentation current with software updates.
* Conduct periodic audits to ensure documentation accuracy.
* Help develop training materials and participate in training sessions.
* Track and report software performance metrics.
* Identify and troubleshoot minor software issues.
* Assist in implementing best practices for software use and documentation.
* Attend other sites in the UK and Europe where required.
Skills, Education and Experience required
* Computer Science or Software Engineering degree would be ideal but not essential.
* A driving licence and a valid passport is required.
* Effective communicator both written and orally.
* Computer literate (MS Office packages).
* Positive ’can do’ attitude.
* Eagerness to learn.
* Team focused.
