Job Description:
Adecco is currently seeking an Event Coordinator to join a well-established company in Liverpool and their Secretarial & Administration Team. The role involves managing various on-site events and administrative tasks and is ideal for candidates with previous events management, general customer service, and administration experience.
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £24k per annum
Permanent, full-time vacancy
Main Duties:
* Meeting Management: Manage conference room bookings and prepare meeting spaces.
* Coordination: Coordinate event logistics, including venue booking, catering, and equipment rental.
* Event Planning: Develop event schedules and time lines.
* Administrative Tasks: Handle post, printing, filing, and archiving.
* Visitor Management: Welcome and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Secretarial & Administration team and other professionals within the organisation.
* Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments for staff members.
* Reception Duties: Manage reception duties efficiently.
* Inquiries Handling: Handle inquiries and provide information about the organisation.
* Document Preparation: Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
* Customer Service Experience: Excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.
* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Initiative: Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
* Administrative Experience: Previous experience in administration, customer service, and events coordination is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Prior experience in an administrative role, customer service, and events coordination
