My client is seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver to join their team, specialising in the delivery of mid-century furniture. The role involves transporting furniture to various regions, including weekly trips to London, 1-2 days delivering to other regions, and a monthly trip to Scotland, with overnight accommodation provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely load, transport, and unload mid-century furniture.
* Deliver to customers in London once a week.
* Deliver to another designated region 1-2 days per week.
* Make one delivery trip to Scotland per month, involving overnight stays.
* Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
* Experience driving vans or larger vehicles is preferred.
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture items.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Flexibility to accommodate overnight trips as required.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
