Transport Planner Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Full and Part Load Planner to manage and optimise their freight operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Transport Planner Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate full and part load shipments across Europe.
* Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
* Monitor and manage shipment schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Optimise load planning to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
* Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during transportation.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments.
* Collaborate with the operations team to improve processes and performance.
Transport Planner Job Requirements
* Proven experience in load planning or a similar role within the logistics industry.
* Strong knowledge of European transportation regulations and market rates.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
