We are looking for a talented Systems Accountant to join a growing team at a leading international defence company based in Portsmouth. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in maintaining our financial systems and ensuring their smooth operation.
What you’ll be doing:
* Manage and maintain our financial systems, including (but not limited to) experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
* Process financial data with accuracy and efficiency, utilising advanced Excel skills for data compilation and analysis.
* Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, resolving queries and ensuring smooth system operation.
* Participate in system upgrades and implementations, offering expertise and support.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.
What you’ll bring:
* Proven experience working with an ERP system (SAP/IFS/Oracle)
* Change management or continuous improvement 
* Advanced Excel skills, including experience with formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
