Basic Salary £27,873 -£31,389 dependant on experience

My client a reputable and established professional membership body in the education sector based in Nottingham, East Midlands is recruiting for a Junior Conference Producer You can be home based, or Nottingham office based or a mixture - flexible.
The post holder will work closely with a small, busy conference team and colleagues from across the professional membership body - education sector, as well as our professional community leaders, partners and members to research, engage and support speakers across all elements of our events.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the work of the Lead Conference Producer by assisting with all aspects of programming, through a combination of liaison, research, analysis, administration, record-keeping, on-the-day and post-event support.
Keeping accurate notes on conference development meetings, contributing ideas, and updating actions on the conference planner.
Liaising with speakers to ensure that they provide key information, such as biographies, photographs and session descriptions, in a timely way for publication on the website and in the programme brochures.
Registering speakers to events on the CRM, ensuring that their places have been booked, accommodation and expense requirements are understood, and any dietary and access needs are captured and met.
Setting up key meetings, such as speaker briefings and post-conference reviews.
Working with marketing colleagues to ensure that collateral for conferences and other events are produced in an accurate and timely manner, such as social media assets, and printed materials such as venue branding and signage.
Working with marketing colleagues to ensure that promotional support (e.g., social media assets) are provided to a range of partners, including speakers and exhibitors.
Drafting copy for website and professional communities that uses the correct style, tone and language, ensuring consistency of voice.
Undertaking speaker research and liaising with speaker agencies as directed by the Lead Conference Producer.
Undertaking competitor analysis and benchmarking from time-to-time.
Person Specification
The role would suit an early career events professional looking to take the next step in their career and expand their experience by working at an influential organisation producing market-leading conferences.
The post-holder will need to be a confident communicator and able to work across a range of different events simultaneously, working closely with colleagues to understand and support the priorities for delivering a busy conference programme across the academic year.

Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Accurate and detail-oriented in the management of data and maintenance of records and action logs.
