Our client, a leading law firm with an exceptional reputation in the IP sector, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Patent Attorney to join its dynamic team. This role is focused on patent litigation within the semiconductor industry, and the ideal candidate will have 1-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and manage patent litigation cases, particularly in the tech sector
* Provide strategic advice and guidance on patent infringement, validity, and enforcement matters
* Represent clients in litigation proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC)
* Collaborate with clients, technical experts, and internal teams to develop comprehensive litigation strategies
* Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
* Conduct legal research and stay updated on the latest developments in patent law and the semiconductor industry
* Attend and participate in court hearings, trials, and other related proceedings
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Patent Attorney with 1-3 years PQE
* Registered to practice as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC)
* Demonstrable experience in patent litigation, preferably within the tech sector and specifically semiconductors
* Strong technical background in semiconductors or related fields
* Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills
* Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
