Interim Group Accountant | 9 -12 months | Hertfordshire/Hybrid Working | £45,000 - £50,000 | Group financial reporting and consolidation of global reporting entities
Communicate are partnering with a FTSE250 as they look to bring on an Interim Group Accountant who can assist with the group consolidations process along with reviewing reporting schedules and month-end duties.
This is a 9 - 12 month contract due to start in July and there is scope to go Temp to Perm in this role.
Key requirements;
* A qualified accountant, preferably practice trained due to the technical elements of the role
* Well versed in financial reporting and running a set of group consolidations
* Technically strong - a good understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP is required
* Understanding of IFRS 3/ Business Combinations is highly desirable
Key responsibilities;
* Working alongside the Group Finance team with the preparation of consolidated financial statements
* Preparation of quarterly reviews
* Reviewing and completing year-end / half -year reporting
* Updating technical and accounting policy papers
* Hybrid working out of the Hertfordshire Office
