Are you a registered mental health or learning disabilities trained nurse? (Registered Nurse or Nurse Associate) Have you considered a career in hospice care?
Our client is seeking experienced adult nursing clinicians from all disciplines including general nursing (RN), registered mental health (RMN) and learning disabilities (RLDN).
These vacancies are based within the highly respected, friendly nursing team at their inpatient unit (IPU) in the beautiful setting of Turnchapel, Plymouth. Largely their contracts are on a rotational basis where you will be working days and nights, however, they do have the opportunity for a Registered Staff Nurse to work nights only.

Their IPU team prides itself on providing palliative and end of life care of the highest standard for patients with complex care needs, relieving their pain and maintaining their dignity.

As a result, the unit enjoys a particularly good nurse to patient ratio (typically 1:3) to support this standard of care.

While the role they are recruiting to is a challenging one, it is highly rewarding and you will be part of a supportive team working in a positive environment where all their staff are valued.

If you’re a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-calibre, evidence-based care and have a particular interest in palliative/end of life care, they’d love to hear from you. Post-registration experience in a variety of areas and a palliative care qualification would be advantageous, but are not essential. Internal rotation to nights and weekends will be a requirement of the post.

In return, you’ll benefit from excellent opportunities to develop your skills, plus the chance to continue membership of the NHS Pension Scheme for existing members.

Working with them, you will receive an attractive employment package: seven weeks’ annual leave (including bank holidays) rising with service, free onsite parking, and membership of a cashback health plan.

Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced clearance will be required for this post.

They are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where everyone can bring their whole selves to work. They therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in their workforce. These include people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, disabled people and LGBTQ+ people.

When you apply, please specify your preference for rotational and/or night only.

They reserve the right to close this vacancy early if they receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
