Purchase Ledger Clerk Role Overview
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance department. This role offers the opportunity for excellent development and progression, as well as being supported with your studies. The successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic and not shy of a challenge.
Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders, obtaining authorisation where necessary, coding to the system and resolving any queries
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Daily cash reconciliation for multiple currency accounts & credit cards
* Preparing proposed payment runs and uploading payments onto the bank
* Expenses processing & payments
* Responsible for specific monthly balance sheet reconciliations & journals including bank accounts, credit cards and intercompany
* Monitor multiple 3rd party portals for new invoices and reports
Purchase Ledger Clerk Experience Required
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar Purchase Ledger role
* Dealt with large volume of transactional posting
* Strong attention to detail
* Show initiative and be proactive
* Good time management.
* Studying towards AAT – Desirable
* Xero experience preferable
