Job Description:
Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a long-standing and professional Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company who have a national presence. They are now looking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor to work in the North West region. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, and Public Sector sites, ensuring to carry out risk assessments on both hot and cold-water systems in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. This role would suit someone looking to join a continuously expanding company where they can undertake further training into other environmental sectors as well as competitive holiday allowance, company pension scheme and company vehicle.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, St Helens, Wigan, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Buxton, Stockport, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry relevant qualification is essential to the role e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Excellent practical knowledge of industry relevant Health and Safety guidelines e.g., HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to prioritise workload in line with company and client needs.
" Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
" Working on Commercial, Educational, and Public Sector sites carrying out risk assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Creating site specific drawings and ensuring they are followed on site.
" Producing detailed legionella reports based on site findings.
" Using information from risk assessment findings to create legionella management plans and liaising with clients to go over preventive measures.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Providing technical support and advice to clients.
