A leading provider of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene services in the South of England are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. The successful candidate will be carrying out water treatment equipment services across Local Authority, Educational, Healthcare, Industrial, Hospitality, Construction and Leisure sites. Our client provides high standard services to their mixed portfolio of sites. You will be carrying out the installation, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment equipment, installing and replacing reverse osmosis units and cleaning and disinfecting water systems. Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working as an equipment engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
" Holding an NVQ Electrical Engineering and / or electrical qualification (17th or 18th edition) would be desirable.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to communicate with clients and colleagues efficiently.
The Role:
" Carrying out installation, maintenance, and servicing of water treatment equipment including water softener, chlorine dioxide units, and reverse osmosis systems.
" Carrying out pre-work risk assessments on sites.
" Installing and replacing reverse osmosis units.
" Carrying out cleaning and disinfections of water systems.
" Installing and replacing dosing equipment on site.
" Replacing and installing UV filtration systems.
" Carrying out fault-finding on site and ensuring issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
" Undertaking plumbing tasks when required.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Producing detailed technical reports based on site findings.
